French House Crusaders is DJing at Circus Tokyo on Jan 14th

Tokyo's good music venue "Circus Tokyo" launched monthly residency party. Lady Citizen & Lapin & Sakana are supporting this week's event. Those 3 DJs are appearing on lounge floor and Lady Citizen & Lapin will play those very exclusive "French House Crusaders" B2B set which is focus on Classic French house & French touch stuff.

(JP) 今月からOkadada & DJ Wildpartyがマンスリーレジデントを務めるイベントが、渋谷・Circus Tokyoから始まりました。その2週目にあたるイベントが、今週末1/14にテクノゴッド・Ken Ishii、人気トラックメイカーCarpainterを迎えて行われます。

そのイベントのラウンジフロアにLady CitizenとSakana、Lapinの出演が急遽決定。当日は、Lady CitizenとLapinは、古き良きクラシックなFrench House、French Electro、French Houseの元ネタであるDiscoをB2Bでプレイするユニット "French House Crusaders"セットを披露します。

Japan now! : Reqterdrumer - undulation

Fukuoka-based techno producer "Reqterdrumer" is releasing his new album "undulation" from  "Blue Arts Music".
The album includes some remixes  which are produced by Techno legends like Ken Ishii, Frank Muller,  Mijk Van Dijk,  Kaito aka Hiroshi Watanabe, SUGIURUMN.

Actually, it might not really cutting edge in current music scene. (Especially internet native generation kids) However all tracks are great. I do feel they are just like traditional & permanency great techno sounds.

このアルバムにはKen Ishii, Frank Muller,  Mijk Van Dijk,  Kaito aka Hiroshi Watanabe, SUGIURUMNなどがリミキサーとして参加しています。

このアルバムはインターネットネーティブ世代にはもしかしたら最新最先端という印象を与えるわけではないかもしれません。しかしながら全曲クオリティーが高く、なんというか伝統的で不変の"Techno"を感じる作品だと思っています。
