Second Woman is a new collaborative project featuring Turk Dietrich of Belong and Joshua Eustis of the renowned Telefon Tel Aviv. As one would imagine, Second Woman is a nonpareil debut of futuristic electronic music fusing the coveted genetics of the duos respective previous endeavors into an alluring new enigma of ASMR-inducing kaleidoscopic dub. Second Woman is a fully realized entity; a well-crafted sound world and a refreshing shared effort which is inspiring in its purity and painstaking in its design.

この”Second Woman”にはシカゴを拠点に活動する「Telefon Tel Aviv」のJoshua Eustisがメンバーとして参加、IDM復活の兆しがにわかに見える今年のシーンにおいてダークホース的な存在かなと思っています。

複雑にプログラミングされたビートと電子音が印象的な"700358bc5”、トリッピーで、スピードチェンジを繰り返すシンセが印象的な"100407jd7”が現在ネット上では試聴可能で、この手の音楽特有のリズミカルで”弾ける”感じが◎。

王道なIDMをお求めの方には是非お勧めしたいアルバムです。

Proudly introducing this beautiful electric beats "From Time From Time" which was produced by San Francisco based Deceptikon . This track got really nice melodic acoustics guitar parts with tight & groovy drum patterns. My most favorite part is time code: 02:30~...
Can't stop to play this track. If you are a Post rock, future beats via electronica like Tycho, Arms & sleepers , old school Bristol trip hop etc, it would be your most loved track.

Iglooghost - 'Gold Coat (ft. Cuushe)

Brain feeder's the young talented 18years old boy Iglooghost released euphoria hyper synth beats track which got a collaborator, one of the top Japanese Indie/Electronica musician Cuushe.

Superb dreamy whisper singing style pretty much fits on this track.
Highly recommended.

This track is like an electronica includes some shoegaze elements with bleep synth bass style with beats stuff.

dubstronica - rei harakami forever 2012

Fortunately, I found very beautiful DJ mix on soundcloud which was recored by Japanese DJ, dubstroninca who is a Tokyo-based. It is named "rei harakami forever 2012" which is tribute of Japanese legendary electronica producer "rei harakami".

It is like a "very best of rei harakami" which includes a lots of his masterpiece tracks.
The world got really horrible news yesterday from Paris. It made us feel so sad, and feel like really bad weekend. I'm not really sure music can be save us or not, however at the least we need something like help.
Let's pray for the victims and world piece. This DJ mix definitely makes us feel better.

Sima Kim & Ryuei Kotoge - Exchange

Holland-based Korean producer Sima Kim & Kobe-based Ryuei Kotoge released a collaboration album "Exchange". It is a good & dope beats album.

My most favorite tracks is Track4 "Seoul (ft. illap)" which is featured Korean rapper unit "illap".
And Track2 "Rêveur" is deep melodic hip hop beats stuff.

Now those 2 tracks from this album are available for listening on soundcloud.

Erik Luebs – Absolute Presence

Osaka based producer Erik Lubes aka Magical mistakes released  "Absolute Presence" under the name of his real name "Erik Lubes" from world wide well known electronic music label "Project Mooncircle" lately.

"Absolute Presence" includes various tracks like really beautiful ambient style melodic synth with 4/4 beats style deep house, tight bass line beats, impressive mallet sound track, deep sound scape ambient track.

All tracks are my fave and I'd like to recommend this release.
Especially Track1"Farewells" which is actually danceable however good for easy listening and Track 4 "Outpouring" is like traditional ambient style stuff. It really reminds me "bvdub"works.

This release already got some good feedbacks from influential music media like BOILER ROOM, NTS, BBCR1 and more

Mokke - Grasshopper

Berlin-based Japanese electronic musician Tomoki Ikeda aka Mokke's ”Grasshopper" is a well beautiful electronica track. This track is taken from his album 'WINGBEAT'.

Actually I just knew this artist really recently when I listened to Sarah P. 's mixtape.
She chose this track for 1st track on her mix.

"Grasshopper" got  experimental music and chillwave style soundscape with layered vocal samples
and all essences portray lyrical electronica world...

If you are a huge fan of Fatcat records, Flau, Project Mooncircle, you will like his music.
Highly recommended.

Rei Hrakami - 5 tracks must listen

Rei Harakami(1970-2011) is still one of the greatest  electronic musician in my life.
He pasted away 2011, July.... However I've been listening to his music.... still.
I won't stop it until I die...
R.I.P..... & respect Rei Harakami forever....

Actually I can't really chose only 5 tracks.... I think it would be changed really day by day. However just today.... Here are my top5...

1. Owari no kisetsu
It is my most favorite his track. Simply beautiful cover track of Hruomi Hosono( a member of YMO).

2. UA - SENKO (Rei Harakami Original Mix)

Super cool Harakami folktronica J-Pop. Awesome....

3. Kieta koi

Delayed synth & rhythm are so impressive....

4. Bioscape

This tack is taken from his early work "unrest". Beautiful piano riff with kinda Hip hop beats are nicely mixed up.

5. 300ml(Milk)

Harakami style electronica funkness....

Osaka-based electronic music label/event Perfect Touch which is run by Magical Mistakes aka Erik Luebs & mightwhales released a beautiful electronica beats & ambient/Drone style A compilation"Peace of Mind: A compilation of calming" lately.

This compilation album includes world wide well known Julien Mier, Kobe-based beat maker Ryuei Kotoge, Japan-via-Thailand traveling beat guru Lee, Nagoya-based  Ramza and more.

All tracks are well good, indeed and it is absolutely true. Especially I really like a track No.2 / Kafuka - Room(My most favorite one from this compilation)
This track is very chill out sounds & skillful electronica style programed track.
